Rugby Borough WFC

Rugby Borough Women have moved home and name more than once on their journey up the pyramid. The club was founded in 2013 as Coventry City Ladies, merged with non-league Coventry United FC in 2015 to become Coventry United Ladies, and rose all the way to the second-tier Championship. After relegation from that level in 2023 — and having spent years without a settled home ground of their own — the club took a bold step, relocating 15 miles from Coventry to affiliate with Rugby Borough FC and rebrand as Rugby Borough Women. The move gave the semi-professional side a proper football home at Rugby Borough's Kilsby Lane facility, with the stated ambition of climbing back to the Championship and full-time football. Based in Warwickshire, they run a full reserve and youth setup alongside the first team.
