Lincoln United FC Women
Lincoln United Women were originally founded in 2017 as Hykeham Town Ladies, beginning in the East Midlands Regional league under manager Chris Funnell. In 2020 they amalgamated with the long-established non-League club Lincoln United — the Whites, based at Ashby Avenue since 1938 — to become Lincoln United FC Women. Their standout campaign came in 2023/24, when they won all 18 of their league games to earn a first-ever promotion to the fourth-tier FA Women's National League, and completed a remarkable treble by also lifting the League Cup, with a 5-0 final win, and the Lincolnshire County Women's Cup, thrashing Stamford 9-0. Distinct from the city's other women's clubs, they carry the Lincoln United name and white identity, and run a full pathway from under-8s through to senior football.
