Leafield Athletic FC Women

Leafield Athletic Ladies were founded in 1997 as one of the first clubs in the Midlands dedicated specifically to female players — a genuinely early mover in the women's and girls' game in the region. Based in Solihull and playing at Dickens Heath Sports Club, they've grown into a large community club, running around fifteen youth teams from under-7s up to under-18s alongside the senior side, with a clear pathway from grassroots to competitive football. On the pitch, they earned promotion to the FA Women's National League in 2019 with a 1-0 win over Goldenhill Wanderers, and have since established themselves in the Midlands division as one of the area's leading women's sides.
