Boldmere St Michaels Women
Boldmere St Michaels Women have a separate origin from the men's club they now share a name with. They were founded in 1997 as Birmingham & West Midlands Ladies, playing their early years at the Castle Vale Stadium as an independent side. Ahead of the 2019/20 season the club struck up a partnership with the long-established Boldmere St Michaels, moving into their facilities in Sutton Coldfield, and formally took the Boldmere St Michaels Women name from 2020/21. They marked the switch quickly, winning their division as champions in 2021/22. The men's club dates back to 1883 as a church youth team, but the women's side is very much its own story — an established Birmingham club that adopted a new home and identity.
