Maidenhead United WFC
Maidenhead United Women were formed in 2008, originally as Burnham LFC before taking the Maidenhead name, and made an immediate mark by winning the Southern Regional Women's League Division One by ten points in their very first season while reaching the first round proper of the Women's FA Cup. Following further promotions they've competed at the fourth tier since 2015. Nicknamed the Magpies and playing under a club whose historic York Road home is recognised as the oldest senior football ground continuously used by the same club, the women's side sits within a large community-focused setup. Their most successful campaign came in 2021/22, when they recorded their highest-ever league finish along with a clutch of club records for clean sheets and away wins.
