Notts County Women FC

Notts County Women were established in the summer of 2018, part of a new women's-and-girls' project at the club — and distinct from an earlier chapter in the club's women's history. That earlier side, Notts County Ladies, had been created in 2014 when Lincoln Ladies relocated to Nottingham; they reached a Women's FA Cup final in 2015 but folded in 2017 over financial problems. The current club started afresh at the grassroots, entering two senior teams into the pyramid, and made an immediate impact under Adam Dunleavy — an unbeaten league run stretching across seasons before winning promotion into the FA Women's National League as champions in 2023. Nicknamed the Magpies and carrying the club's black-and-white identity, they run a full junior pathway from under-9s upward, developing home-grown players for the senior side.
