Oxford United WFC

Oxford United Women trace their origins to the 1991–92 season, when they were founded as Oxford Ladies FC. The team affiliated to Oxford United a year later, changing their name to Oxford United Ladies to maintain a "one-club" ethos. There was an early moment of history in October 1992, when their match against Horsham at the Manor Ground — the men's old home — became the first Oxford United women's game to be televised, broadcast on Central Television. Nicknamed the U's and Yellows like the men's club, they've built steadily through the women's pyramid over the decades, playing at Marsh Lane in Oxford, and are recognised and promoted by the wider club as an established side in the FA Women's National League.
