West Bromwich Albion F.C. Women

West Bromwich Albion Women were founded in 1989 as West Bromwich Albion Women's FC, playing local and recreational football before joining the Midland Combination Women's League in 1995. For much of their early history they were independent of the men's club, and for a spell competed under the name Sporting Club Albion — it was under that name they won the Midland Combination in 2010/11 to reach the Premier League. They rejoined the West Bromwich Albion Community Programme in the mid-2000s and later took the club's name and Baggies identity in full. On the pitch they added the FA Women's Premier League Northern Division title in 2015/16, and in 2025 the club made the manager's role full-time as part of a broader commitment to bring the women's side properly into the club. They play at Redditch United's Valley Stadium.
