Moneyfields FC Women
Moneyfields Women are an ambitious, fast-rising club based in Portsmouth and part of the wider Moneyfields Football Club. Founded in 2017, they've climbed steadily through the women's pyramid — up through the Hampshire County and Southern Region leagues before reaching the FA Women's National League Division One South West in 2022.
The 2023/24 season brought national attention: a run to the Fourth Round of the Women's FA Cup, featured on BBC Football Focus, BBC Sport and The Guardian, alongside a third-place league finish and the PDFA Cup.
2025/26 was the club's best yet — a record points tally and their highest-ever goalscoring return. They reached the WNL Plate Final, pushed for the title until the final day against Swindon Town, and fell in a play-off shootout to Norwich City. The season still ended with silverware: a 2-1 win over AFC Portchester secured a third straight PDFA Cup, a fitting send-off for Karl Watson in his 224th and final match after nine years as manager. Jack Randall has since stepped up from coach to lead the team for 2026/27.
