Queens Park Rangers FC Women
Queens Park Rangers Women in their current form were founded in 2019, established as a new team under the club's Community Trust and playing in the Hoops' famous blue-and-white. They're actually the third distinct chapter of QPR women's football: a separate club called QPR Ladies existed back in 1969, reaching three consecutive Women's FA Cup finals and winning in 1977 before folding, while another QPR women's side that ran from 2001 continued independently as Hounslow Women. The 2019 relaunch started in the fifth-tier London regional league and has climbed steadily into the FA Women's National League. Based in west London and nicknamed the Rs, the Super Hoops, they represent a fresh, community-rooted revival of women's football at the club.
